The season
November to February is a short season. Your date decides everything else.
December is the most beautiful month and the most expensive: Christmas week can double a venue’s rate, and the good rooms go twelve months ahead. October is the quiet answer. The monsoon has cleared, Goa is at its greenest, and season pricing has not started.

One coast. Every beach answers to a village.
What you can build on the sand, and how late it runs, is decided by the panchayat that beach sits in, not by the resort behind it. Two beaches ten minutes apart can give you two different answers. So the book is filed by village, from the northern tip to the southern cliffs.

Can you have a wedding on a beach in Goa?
Yes, and it is the reason most couples come. The ceremony happens on the sand, and the reception moves to the resort behind it. What you can build on the beach, and how late the music runs, is set by the village panchayat that stretch belongs to — so the answer changes from beach to beach. We check it for your specific date and venue before you sign anything.
When is the best month for a wedding in Goa?
November to February. The air is dry, evenings are cool enough for a jacket, and outdoor set-ups are safe. December is the most beautiful and the most expensive — Christmas and New Year week can double a venue’s rate. October is the quiet answer: the monsoon has cleared, Goa is greener than it will be all year, and season pricing has not started.
Does music really have to stop at 10pm?
Outdoors, yes. Amplified sound in the open stops at 10pm across Goa under the national noise rules, and it is enforced. A handful of notified days each year run to midnight. It is not a problem once you plan for it: we start the evening earlier and move the late half of the night into an indoor space that is licensed to hold it.
How much does a Goa wedding cost?
There is no honest single number. A 90-guest wedding at a boutique property in October and a 400-guest wedding at a five-star in December are different purchases. What you can price up front is food: published per-plate rates in our venue book start between ₹1,650 and ₹7,000 a head. Rooms usually cost more than the food, and guest count, month and venue tier move everything else.
Do we need to be in Goa to plan it?
No. Being local is the studio’s job, not yours: we walk the venues, take the permissions questions to the panchayat, and send you photographs and drawings. Calls run in your time zone and decisions are confirmed in writing. Plan on one or two visits to Goa before the wedding week.
Who actually shows up on the day?
A named planner from the Goa studio, who runs the day with you. Your written proposal should list everyone who will be on site and what each person is responsible for. Ask for that from any planner you are considering, and hold them to it.
