The Goa Wedding Co. is an architect-founded studio with its own design team and its own production workshop, staffed by planners who live in Goa and hold equity in the company. We design your wedding to scale, build it ourselves rather than renting it, and run it on the day with our own people.
Every wedding is drawn before it is priced. You see plans and elevations of your own ceremony, not a mood board of somebody else's. The people who draw it are on our team, sitting in our studio, and they are the same people who answer when you want the mandap two feet wider.
Our workshop builds what the drawings say. That is why nothing repeats: a set made for your wedding is made once. It also means when something needs changing at four in the afternoon, the people who built it are the people fixing it, not a supplier two hours away.
The planners are from here and own a share of the studio. They know which panchayat governs which beach, which road floods, which venue's kitchen can actually cook for four hundred. That knowledge is not researchable — it is the accumulation of living somewhere.
A Goa wedding has more moving parts than one at home, and almost all of them are local: what the panchayat allows on that beach, when the sound has to stop, which month the outdoor set-up survives, how long the drive is from the airport on a December Saturday.
A planner who flies in four days early cannot know those things and has to ask the venue — which means you get the venue's answer, not an independent one. That is the difference this studio is built around.
We design it ourselves. The studio was founded by an architect and works like an architecture practice: your wedding is drawn to scale before anything is ordered. The mandap, backdrops, tables and lighting plan are then built in our own workshop by our own team.
No. Nothing we build comes off a rental catalogue. Each set is made for the wedding it was designed for, which is why two of our weddings at the same Goa venue do not look like each other.
Our own people, on our payroll, who live in Goa. Not freelancers booked for the weekend. The planners here hold equity in the studio, so the person running your wedding has a stake in how it goes.
No. This studio is Goa only. That is the entire point of it — the team lives here, works here, and knows the venues, the panchayats and the roads because they use them every week.
