A wedding studio that lives in Goa

Most of the people who plan weddings in Goa do not live in Goa. They arrive four days before, work from a hotel room, and leave on the Monday. It mostly works. It also means nobody on the team has ever met the panchayat secretary, or knows which road floods, or can tell you what that beach looks like in the third week of October.

We built this studio the other way round. The planners are Goan and on our payroll, and they hold equity in the company they work for. The studio is here, not in another city with a Goa page on its website. When a venue changes its sound policy or a new house comes onto the market, we hear it the same week.

The design side comes from an architecture practice, and it still behaves like one. Your wedding gets drawn to scale before anything is ordered, and what we build is made for you in our own workshop rather than pulled from a rental catalogue. That is the part couples usually cannot find in Goa: someone who can both get the permissions right and actually design the thing.

What we do and do not do

We plan and design weddings across Goa — beach ceremonies, Portuguese houses, five-star resorts, private villas. We do not run a vendor directory, we do not take commissions for pointing you at a venue, and we do not take on more weddings in a season than our own team can stand at.

Who you are actually hiring

The Goa Wedding Co. is the Goa studio of Wedvitez Planners Private Limited, which also operates Panigrahana Weddings. Your contract and invoice are issued in the legal entity’s name. We say so here because we would rather you read it on our own site than find it on an invoice. It is the same design team either way — this studio is the part of it that lives in Goa and works only on Goa.
